The Human Resources Department Employment Policy, Compensation and Systems (HRDPC) is one of the Centers of Expertise in the Human Resources VPU (HRD). Its role is to design, develop, implement, and administer compensation and benefits policies and programs for staff and the contingent workforce in Washington, D.C. and over 130 country offices. The Mobility Benefits and Cross Cutting Themes team is responsible for designing, implementing, and engaging on HRDPC programs and processes that are cross cutting in nature and require significant engagement and change management leadership to implement. Recent examples of such work include the design and implementation of the policy, systems and change management platform of the new Telecommuting - Emergency HR action, Hazard & Fragility Pay (HFP) in FCV locations and support to WBG evacuations.

In FY23 the Mobility Benefits and Cross Cutting Themes unit (HRDMC) will undertake a review of the current Global Footprint Packages (GFP) to ensure they are fit for purpose and delivering on the strategic aims of the global footprint agenda. In this role, the analyst will be required to work independently, under the supervision of the Manager, and HR specialists on specific tasks, to analyze different quantitative and qualitative inputs in a way that informs this review and other activities undertaken by the unit.

Duties & Accountabilities:• Support the HRDMC team with analyses on program trends, costs and impact in the areas of mobility benefits, evacuations and other cross cutting themes, leveraging HR data and platforms to produce superior MS Excel based analysis• Produce high quality presentations to support engagements with Management, clients and within HR to demonstrate the impact of the team's programs and policies on staff• Enhance WBG assignment data availability and reporting, working with HR Shared Services and ITS to expand and enhance the available data to inform on program and staff trends ensure a robust reporting platform and methodology for capturing information critical to reporting on the results of mobility programs• Lead the project progression monitoring of the GFP interim review, ensuring the immediate and extended Global Mobility team is aware of key deliverables, dates, and associated milestones• Expand the working relationship with key stakeholders, e.g. BPS, who similarly report on mobility trends and costs, ensuring consistency and accuracy in program reporting• Liaise with Global Mobility data vendors and comparator organizations to ensure the timely collection and update of assignment benefits• Support the development of a robust exception management platform for monitoring, mining and evaluating exception requests• Provide policies clarifications and guidance to HR Operations, Client Services staff and WBG staff on their applications, including identifying opportunities for improvement to ensure compliance and consistent application.• Support the dissemination and knowledge management of Global Mobility programs through KM initiatives, training and ongoing maintenance of materials

Selection Criteria
• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field and 2 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience• Experience in the field of employee compensation and/or benefits• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and in particular MS Excel • Experience reporting on WBG data to Management• Solid understanding and experience with the BI reporting platform; knowledge of the SAP Business warehouse platform is a plus• Strong written and oral communication skills, leveraging various media to enable knowledge management around Global Mobility• Certified by World at Work or SHRM-S/CP, or other widely recognized employee benefits certification a plus.
