This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an HR Assistant in the United States.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, empathetic professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting employees across multiple HR functions. You will serve as a key point of contact for employee inquiries, manage case resolution efficiently, and help maintain accurate HR records. Your work will directly impact the employee experience by ensuring seamless support in areas such as benefits, payroll, onboarding, and offboarding. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, enhance employee self-service tools, and collaborate with a range of HR stakeholders. The role is remote, allowing you to work from home while staying closely connected with cross-functional teams. Attention to detail, strong communication, and problem-solving skills are critical to success.

Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries across HR functions, including payroll, benefits, compensation, talent management, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Manage and resolve employee cases in ServiceNow within SLA, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Prepare, process, and route HR documents such as I-9s, personnel files, employment verifications, and offboarding paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate records and perform weekly and monthly audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide consistent employee support and escalate issues as needed.
  • Identify gaps in self-service resources and provide recommendations to improve the employee experience.
  • Support ad hoc HR projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to process improvement and scalability.
  • Requirements:
  • 1+ years of HR-related experience, including coursework or practical exposure to HR functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver messages professionally and empathetically.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with teams.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data management and document processing.
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as ServiceNow HRSD and Workday (preferred).
  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable navigating evolving policies, processes, and technologies.
