Role Overview
The role of Human Resource Assistant Manager sits within the Internal Services Team, and provides support, advice and guidance to all levels of employees. On a country level driving continuous process improvement initiatives in all areas, working closely with the Country Leader and management team, and developing customised HR services and solutions for their business needs. From a global level working closely with the HR Leadership team by contributing to global HR business initiatives, projects and roll-out of processes, policies and new services. With close collaboration with Global HR Service teams, Learning & Development, Global Mobility for International Assignments, HR Shared Services, Resourcing and HR Controlling & Reporting
- Overall lead for daily operation of Infosys Consulting HR services and processes within UK
- Drive yearly HR Cycle / Performance Management / Salary & Bonus processes in close collaboration with Europe HR Lead and Global HR
- Have a thorough understanding of UK Employment Law, and the ability to manage complex ER situations.
- Drive improvement activities re HR country organization closely collaborating with Head of HR Europe in alignment with Corporate Infosys Consulting HR guidelines and strategy
- Regularly monitor quality and effectiveness of HR processes, services and policies and initiate improvement actions whenever required
- Ensure compliance with Global HR regulations, processes and policies; ensure / impose fairness, equal rights & treatment for all employees irrelevant of their origin, religion, gender or cultural background; manage escalations / sanctions for defiance of such ethical standards, oppression or sexual harassment
- Close monitoring of compliance with legal, tax, social security regulations, adhering to respective changes related to HR services and processes
- Manage relationships with external service providers and social institutions
- Plan, develop, implement and monitor country specific HR solutions to support achievement of business targets in Europe
- Establish effective relationships with Partners, Line Organisation and Internal Services staff to obtain a sound understanding of prevailing/arising business needs and potential solutions
- Actively contribute to Global, Regional and Local HR & Business initiatives
- Participate in internal and external events and position Infosys Consulting UK as Employer of Choice
About You
- We are looking for an experienced HR Manager with a positive approach:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or an equivalent subject
- Several Years of relevant Human Resources experience, ideally in a HRBP role
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and experience in dealing with complex employee relation cases
- Fluent level of English, both spoken and written
- Experience working in a highly matrixed global organization and the ability to navigate complex structures
- Demonstrable experience in coaching and consulting in a high-performance culture
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
- Must have right to work in the UK - this role is not open for sponsorship
