Job Description:
Description: The HR Associate attends to visitors and answers inquiries on the phone and face to face. This job also supplies information regarding Supplier Diversity Program information to vendors, employees, physicians, volunteers, contractors and general public.
Typical Duties:
- Meets, greets and directs internal and external customers with high impact customer service skills.
- Receives and sorts mail pertaining to Supplier Diversity; may deliver to appropriate parties.
- Provides backup for Sr. Administrative Assistant.
- Prepares AP invoices and send to Manager for approval. .
- Performs general functions such as contacting vendors and the input of vendor data into an automated system.
- Utilizes computerized data entry equipment and various word processing, spreadsheets enter, store and/or retrieve information as requested or otherwise necessary, and summarizes data in preparation of standardized reports.
- Maintains general filing system.
- Inputs vendor data in a timely and accurate manner into the web-based information system; complies with the compilation of information.
- Performs support tasks such as organizing forms; photocopies; files; orders and maintains materials needed for data input.
- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA regulations.
- Notifies TCHD Police Department of work schedules outside normal working hours/days to ensure that the magnetic department entry locks are secured when staff is in attendance.
- Performs other related job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 2 plus years of experience as a receptionist or previous experience in Human Resources.
