About the role:
We are looking for an experienced, highly organized, and collaborative HRBP for our culture-first company. The role of the HRBP is to support the development and implementation of innovative and effective people strategies that support Raft’s objectives and demonstrate our values.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about their work, is accountable, possesses strong analytical and influencing skills, demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, and enjoys people-focused problem solving. The HRBP will report directly to the Senior Director of People and will work closely with People Ops and leaders across the Raft's teams. The primary responsibilities of the HRBP include developing, implementing, and managing programs that support Raft’s goals such as: onboarding, training and development, performance management, benefits, compensation, and employee relations.
What you'll do:
- Support the development and execution of strategic people plans in partnership with the business
- Develop and implement training initiatives and lead talent and performance management efforts to enable a high-performance culture
- Plan and lead organization projects to streamline and implement new structures, roles and/or processes that support growing business demands
- Operate as a trusted advisor and coach to our leadership team, building outstanding partnerships to create, execute, and continuously improve upon the talent strategy, including: organizational design, career development, management & leadership coaching, change management, morale, retention, relationships, and how to grow and scale
- Guide business leaders on organizational policies and processes, including talent reviews, and learning and development
- Assess career progression, promotional opportunities and employee development needs based on business strategy to help close gaps
- Take a data-driven approach to recommending impactful initiatives that provide measurable results
- Partner closely with people team updates and changes, ensuring you are aware of and communicate any organizational changes that could impact the team's working operations
- Foster a culture of engagement and excitement to bring out people-driven results where employees feel empowered to drive organizational performance, and develop their careers at Raft
- Management and constant development of HR processes and policies including Benefits, Onboarding, Offboarding, and Talent Reviews
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and leading with empathy, logic, data and credibility
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years' experience working as an HR Business Parter supporting employees, managers, and leaders across a diverse portfolio of skill sets; this includes developing training programs, career development programs, advising and coaching leaders, and developing employees within a technology company
- Bachelor's degree preferred. Master’s degree in HR a plus. SHRM certification is a plus
- Ability to act with integrity, keep commitments; be proactive; have a point of view, and being a trusted thought partner to build relationships, culture and deliver results
- Act on experience and ability to balance business partnering skills with employee advocacy
- Demonstrated business professionalism, respect for confidentiality, and appropriate handling of sensitive information
- Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to identify opportunities, anticipate challenges and gaps, and plan accordingly
- Strong attention to detail and a proven ability in managing time and tasks associated with fast-paced organization
- Ability to work independently and take ownership while prioritizing and juggling multiple projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant change and adaptability, with a can-do attitude, flexibility, and resourcefulness
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Mattermost or Slack, and LinkedIn (to post about company culture)

Compensation Range:
- $85,000 - $95,000
