Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating smooth new-hire onboarding processes, collaborating with various departments to ensure an exceptional first-day experience. You'll also follow up with onboarding procedures at 30 / 60 / 90 days.
Managing all administrative tasks related to onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews. This includes data entry in HRIS systems and conducting audits for accuracy and compliance.
Providing dedicated and effective HR advisory services to employees, covering areas such as absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and other employee-relations matters.
Overseeing payroll processing, which includes updating employee files weekly and biweekly, managing bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes.
Assisting in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
Contributing to the development, communication, interpretation, and maintenance of the employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart. Your insights will also be valuable in policy development.
Assisting in organizing quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
Ensuring compliance with labor regulations and relevant employment laws.
Developing and conducting training programs to keep employees updated on policies and procedures.
Collaborating on the establishment of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports to meet company requirements.
Managing and maintaining I-9 forms for all employees, including E-Verify registration, verifying necessary documentation, and staying informed about any updates to citizenship statuses.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
1-3 years of combined employment and employee relations experience.
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, along with an ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS/database.
Demonstrated involvement in positive employee relations activities.
Excellent interpersonal skills, a track record of building effective relationships, and the ability to collaborate well with individuals at all levels within the organization.
Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities.
