Pengate Handling Systems and Arbor Material Handling joined forces in November 2020 to form Arbor/Pengate. Together, we are a powerhouse material handling company that provides various warehousing solutions throughout the Northeast United States. We provide top-of-the-line equipment, service, consultation, parts, and training programs to businesses of all sizes throughout our 7 locations in PA and NY.

What's The Job?
We are searching for a HR Business Partner to join our Willow Grove, PA team who would be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. Furthermore, the HRBP partners with leaders providing day-to-day employee relations and performance management guidance to fully optimize human capital performance and outcomes.
What Will I Be Doing?
Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:
- Consulting with leaders ensuring performance management aligns with pay-for-performance recommendations and reward and recognition programs.
- Acting as an advocate and advisor to employees and leaders regarding career and leadership development.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Develop, plan, and conduct workplace investigations related to complex and sensitive human capital matters; use facts to make recommendations, and oversee the implementation of decisions that lead to fair and consistent resolution of issues and complaints.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Managing performance management, terminations, restructuring, accommodation requests (ADA, FMLA, STD, LTD, workplace matters, conflict resolution, etc.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Develop and implement comprehensive staffing plans for the organization and partner with Talent Acquisition team on strategies to attract top talent.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
What Makes Me Qualified?

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Sociology and related work experience required
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Human Capital Management /Human Resources, including experience in talent assessment and development, change management, recruitment, job and compensation programs, employee relations, and managing complex/sensitive workplace investigations
- Demonstrated working knowledge of US state and federal employment laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to educate, inspire and indirectly lead individuals and people leaders
