THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Head of People the HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a critical “on the ground” member of our People team dedicated to supporting the growth and success of the business and our people. The HRBP is responsible for executing on Vivian Health’s People strategies, programs and initiatives in close strategic partnership with our Executive Leaders and their teams.
The right person for this role is a results oriented business leader who happens to have an expertise in talent development, culture, change leadership, driving business performance, succession planning and coaching, who thinks like a business person and acts like an owner – because at Vivian Health, the HRBP is the right hand partner to the Executive Leader.
This position requires a highly energetic, super positive, growth-minded HR professional who loves engaging with employees and brings a big passion for changing how healthcare professionals find careers. We want someone who takes our mission, but not themselves, seriously and is looking to make a real impact.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with leaders to foster continual improvements that support the growth, development, engagement and accountability of our workforce and on change management, to develop consistent strategies and tactics to help leaders manage change
- Collaborate with client groups to ensure training and career development needs are met
- Have a hands-on approach to monitor and influence the "pulse" of the organization to ensure a high level of employee engagement and retention
- Help drive execution of annual People processes/programs: performance management, talent assessment and reviews, individual development planning, employee engagement surveys, merit and promotion cycle, etc.
- Help enhance new impactful People programs that support talent development, employee relations, engagement/retention, recognition and rewards
- Provide strategic advice, counsel and consultative solutions to executive and business unit leaders and their teams
- Participate closely with talent acquisition efforts to ensure a proactive workforce plan and targeted recruiting strategy is in place
- Not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves" or push-back on initiatives for thoughtful and strategic planning, scaling for size
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills while emulating Vivian Health’s core values
THE SKILL SET:
- 8-10+ years of progressive HR roles, with extensive business partner experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in business, HR, or related field
- Strong knowledge of employment laws
- Experience working with healthcare and/or technology companies
- Employee Relations fact-finding and resolution experience
- Experience leading change efforts within a fast-paced, geographically dispersed organization, with rapidly shifting skills/capabilities required
- Organization and team development experience; strong history of delivering solutions and strategies for solving unique business challenges
- Ability to travel for team collaboration

THE SALARY, BENEFITS & PERKS:
The range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 yearly salary, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.
