Job Description
As a HR Business Partner, you will provide strategy to align business goals with Rockwell Automation polices, process and programs by driving organizational effectiveness, leading of change management, organization development, and managing of talent effectiveness. Demonstrating functional expertise and being seen as coach and trusted advisor to the Digital leaders within the Lifecycle Services BU while supporting the leaders to create and maintain a positive work environment is critical
Essential Functions
- Ensure alignment between business requirements of the business functions they lead, and Rockwell's HR policies, processes, and programs. In addition, has responsibility for identifying, leading and supporting HR strategies and initiatives within these business/functions.
- Partners with the Global Business Director and business leaders to define short-term and long-term organization development requirements (workforce planning, people development, culture, etc.).
- Partners with global HR colleagues and business leaders to create focus on BU goals, including: org effectiveness, workforce planning, change management, talent effectiveness, and the creation of a healthy work environment which fosters a high level of employee engagement and a performance based culture.
- Drives successful execution of new initiatives, including the rollout of business initiatives and programs focused on organizational and cultural change.
- Ensures strong leadership capability for the business and the development of leadership competency within the business. Facilitates the human resource talent review, including replacement planning and identification of high potential employees. Leverages insights from discussions with leaders to address gaps, opportunities, and ensure the creation of development plans to bridge gaps.
- Identify the technical, professional and management training needs of the employees within the business.
- Ensure that proper compensation levels and programs are maintained to motivate and retain employees by partnering with HR Compensation team.
- Advise and assist Directors, and other business leaders on employee performance issues and actions required for improvement.
- Partners with leaders to create and maintain a culture of inclusion where all employees feel valued and see Rockwell Automation as a place where they can do their best work.
- Challenges the status quo. Proactively thinks outside of the box to inspire our business to continuously improve
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with professional qualifications in HR Management, MBA is a plus.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years' human resources experience, including experience working as a hands-on business partner for global companies.
- HR Business Partner experience working with a professional consulting firm
- Strategic mindset, strong business acumen, executive presence, strong communications skills, and influencing capabilities.
- In depth knowledge of HR function with global experience.
- Experience with programs including Talent Development, Compensation and Benefits, Succession Planning, Leadership Review, Organizational Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Change Management as well as Workforce Planning to people plans specific to business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functional lines in a global matrixed environment.
