HR Business Partner (maternity leave)

Position Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Consulting with Managers: Act as a strategic advisor to managers on workforce planning, organizational development, and change management. Provide expert guidance on performance management and policy interpretation
- Employee Relations: Support all aspects of the employee life cycle, offering assistance in onboarding, development, and general HR matters to maintain our unique culture and positive work environment
- Onboarding & Training: Lead the onboarding process and support training initiatives to ensure effective integration and growth of new hires
- Policy Development: Assist in developing and refining HR policies, procedures, and systems, ensuring alignment with company goals and legal standards
- HRIS & Data Management: Oversee HRIS processes, focusing on efficient data management and reporting
Requirements:
- Temporary position covering maternity leave for 6-12 months
- 4+ years in HR, with a focus on consulting to managers, employee relations, and recruitment
- Passion for the HR field and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Experience in the tech industry, working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to coach employees and management through complex and sensitive issues
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills
- Experience with HRIS (preferably Workday)
