HR Clerk - Kraft Heinz Mason City, IA Plant
The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking an HR Clerk to work at our production facility in Mason City, IA. The role of the HR Clerk is to provide HR-related support to all functions in the plant. This position will be responsible for hourly recruiting, onboarding, Engagement/People Committee participation, and other HR administrative duties. We value strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task. We are looking for someone willing to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The candidate will excel with forward-positive thinking and creativity.
Responsibilities & Duties include but are not limited to

• Manage the hourly recruiting process
• Help facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding process for hourly employees
• Participate in People Committee and assist with People Committee initiatives, community events, etc.
• Be a resource for all plant employees on HR-related topics
• Assist with communications and maintaining bulletin boards, Bright Signs TVs, etc.
• Coordinate recognition programs and communications
• Effectively communicate policies and regulations to gain support and understanding
• Track and maintain data and records for the HR department
• Responsible for other duties assigned by the manager

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 1-2 years of Human Resource experience

Working Conditions

• 40 hours per week/8 hours daily/5 days per week
• Overtime required as needed.
• Flexibility to adjust shift schedule to work with employees on other shifts needed.

Qualifications:

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to manage multiple processes and projects with minimal direction.
• Must possess a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Starting Rate $24.71/hr

• Products: Refrigerated Ready-to-Eat Jell-O gels, puddings and cheesecake
• Plant runs 24 hours a day / 7 days per week. This continuous process is supported by four shift teams with over 200 employees.
• Non-union facility
• No product recalls
