HR Compliance Specialist
Job Description
What You Will Do:
- Tasked with audit processes and recommending process improvements for the Human Resources teams as it relates to internal processes and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with HR and Compliance team members to ensure all compliance requirements are being met during onboarding and throughout the employee lifecycle
- Use available resources to ensure you are always putting out the best possible service, product, and communications
- Prepare reports, sometimes ad hoc, when asked by senior HR and/or Compliance leadership or external regulatory entities
- Perform operational audits for compliance with regulations and internal control standards
- Audit and maintain all records, including I-9 and Visa records
- Ensure proper tax jurisdictions for new hires and current team
- Covid-19 case management, testing and contact tracing
- Assist internal and external auditors as requested
- Maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee data and information
- Maintain employee data in Oracle and ADP
- Escalate compliance concerns/issues to the HR Leadership team
- Assist HR team with other generalist duties as needed
What You Will Need:
- 2+ years of work experience in Business Administration, Human Resources or Finance
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient with MS Office products (O365, Excel, Word) and other computer applications
- Experience with Oracle preferred
- Experience in ADP preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to work alone and within a team
- Can manage multiple projects, ad hoc report requests at once
- Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
