HR Consultant

You like learning about new products and subject matter (such as employment law updates) and helping others learn as well.

As an HR Consultant you’ll help shape Justworks’ Customer Success Organization strategy by partnering closely with the Customer Success and Support teams to deliver Human Resources tools and guidance to Justworks’ customers.

• Communicate directly with customers regarding HR inquiries displaying high levels of professionalism ownership and compassion
• Independently manage and prioritize a high-volume queue of complex HR and compliance questions offering clear best practices guidance and effective options while ensuring timely high-quality responses
• Explain complicated compliance and HR concepts in simple user-friendly terms
• Balance customer-facing work with participation in ongoing team and departmental projects that improve internal processes and the overall customer experience
• Create and update HR-related content for both external and internal uses
• Serve as a representative for the team and subject matter expert in presentations training sessions and inter-departmental initiatives
• Liaise with Compliance to uphold Justworks’ standards as a co-employer and demonstrate discretion as to when issues warrant escalation
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience at the HR Generalist HR Business Partner HR Manager or Employee Relations Manager level
• At least 1 of the following HR certifications: PHR SPHR SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP 
• If not certified certification must be obtained within the first six months of employment - Justworks will provide financial support
• Multi-state HR experience a plus
• Experience in tech SaaS and/or PEO environments a plus

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $122000.00 to $134200.00 per year.
