Position Summary: 

Reporting to the Sr Director, People Strategy and working from our Tampa office, the HR Coordinator will be a central figure in our people team as they support  the headquarter office and the full lifecycle of Deepwatch employees. You will be responsible for providing HR guidance and direction to employees and supporting People Business Partners and their assigned client groups. You will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities and will be accountable for a wide range of HR activities. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to jump in and help when needed. In addition, this person should possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and understanding of HR best practices.    

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Maintain operations of the front desk, greeting visitors and employees 
  • Collaborate with the People team to perform administrative duties
  • Collect, sort and distribute company mail and packages as well as prepare outgoing mail/packages for shipment
  • Order supplies for the office as needed
  • Maintain shared site information and support policy update roll-outs to ensure business adoption and/or understanding of changes
  • Support Customer / RFP data requests
  • Mail items from Tampa: New hire postcards, bereavement gifts, bday cards, etc.
  • Utilize HRIS to enter accurate employee data
  • Maintain and update Org Charts
  • Partner with L&D team on learning and development training and initiatives
  • Address employee questions and concerns while promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Assist the People team with prioritizing HR-related events and programs
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to: 

  • Adequately utilize HRIS systems and maintain data integrity 
  • Maintain confidential information and exhibit a high level of professionalism
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills,  problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Provide best-in-class customer service and support to internal and external contacts
  • Be proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software and Google Suite 

Statutory Pay Disclosure:

The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $65,000 + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
