HR Coordinator

The HR (People & Culture) Coordinator helps the company achieve its objectives by providing operational and administrative support to the HR team across a variety of HR functions, and reports to the Director, People Operations.
Core Functions
Culture
- Lead the planning efforts of all organization-wide events (i.e. Bike to Work Day, Annual Parties, etc)
- Partner with leadership to review previous annual event calendars and propose future schedule, taking into account employee feedback
- Work with members of the organization across the brands to create and distribute the Peaksware monthly Newsletter
- Administer company-wide programs & communication (i.e. Peaksware Reward & Recognition program, Birthday & Anniversary Announcements, Employee Discounts, Annual Flu Shot Clinic, etc)
Corporate Social Responsibility
- Develops and executes CSR programs, as well as conducts periodic program reviews to assess outcomes
- Promotes employee volunteering initiatives in partnership with Leadership and acts as the lead point of contact for the Company’s CSR activities
- Other duties as assigned
Administration
- Shepard new hires through the HR onboarding process, including benefit enrollment. Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed, on time and in compliance with applicable state and federal laws
- Work with Hiring Managers to create a comprehensive week 1 onboarding schedule. Schedule Day 1 “Welcome” and meetings with required attendees accordingly
- Work with the Hiring Manager to create a 30/60/90 day onboarding plan
- Assist in updating and maintaining the Primary Job Descriptions database across all brands
- Conduct monthly health insurance invoice reconciliation/audit
- Partner with Accounting team on twice monthly payroll runs
- Manage offboarding tasks including exit tickets, exit surveys and data entry
- Facilitate voluntary exit discussions.
- Collect and compile feedback from terminating employees and provide feedback to management.
- Assist with administrative tasks and data entry related to staffing changes
- Assist in creating, implementing and evaluating HR department policies, procedures and structures
- Ensure all employee records are maintained and updated when necessary
- Respond to general employee queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Provide support for project-based work
- Continue to grow knowledge across HR functions
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years HR experience in similar roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Google Apps
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, trustworthy and confidential nature
- Commitment and ownership of job responsibilities; deadline oriented
- Excellent organization skills and meticulous attention to detail; process oriented
- Demonstrated initiative. Ability to identify things that need to be done or areas where assistance would be helpful, with the desire to jump in and assist
- Curiosity, integrity, honesty and a sense of humor
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with HRIS and/or ATS, particularly Paylocity or Workable
- General knowledge of HR practices

Compensation
Peaksware is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Colorado is $37,464 - $62,441. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment that is well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned with adequate ventilation and a noise level that is usually moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
