HR Coordinator
Job Description
Your Role
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will work closely with the Gensler New York Human Resources team on day-to-day operations, projects, and special initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Support Gensler New York HR functions, working closely with HR Director, HR Manager and teams
- Assist with implementation of HR programs (i.e., onboarding, annual reviews, compensation planning, pipeline development, etc.)
- Create and maintain periodic and ad hoc reports regarding metrics, employee demographics, salary, staffing/productivity, and other related information
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of HRIS data and personnel files
- Gather and synthesize team member activity (i.e., transfers, leave of absences, new hires, departures, etc.)
- Develop research and/or special projects as needed
- Assist with learning coordination in the office
- Support New York HR with administrative needs, including scheduling of meetings, correspondence, etc.
- Independently create presentations and internal correspondence
- Participation in staffing and other operational functions as appropriate
- Respond to employee questions and requests regarding benefits, payroll, and policies
- Understand all Gensler policies and ensure compliance
- Other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of experience working in a team environment at a professional organization; some Human Resources experience required
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of InDesign a plus
- Experience with Workday or similar HCM
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills
- Team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships
- Self-motivated and capable of working under tight deadlines
**The base salary range will be estimated between $60,000 - $70,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience.
