HR Coordinator
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Performs all non-exempt recruiting activities.
- Tracks data regarding temporary labor pool, and provides hours worked information to applicable agencies on a weekly basis.
- Enters and maintains data related to employees.
- Prepares new-employee files. Accurately maintains employee files and training records.
- Administers all employee leaves of absence and acts as liaison between employees and insurance providers. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
- Coordinates drug screens and background checks
- Assists employees with HCM access and answers HR support questions as needed.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Uses UKG and other sources as needed to gather information; creates/updates key HR metrics
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested; may conduct research and assist in development of policies and programs.
- Processes mail for the department.
- Plans and executes successful employee events (holiday parties, picnics, community outreach, etc).
- Orders business cards, name plates, and HR office supplies.
- Answers department phone as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn social media platforms, human capital management software and similar computer applications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
- 2 years related work experience
