The HR Coordinator provides administrative support to one or more human resources functions, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, training, equal employment opportunity, and/or employee records.

Responsibilities

  • Processes HR department activities using appropriate HRIS applications, including employment and enrollment applications
  • Maintains employment records, and compiles statistics for various HR management reports.
  • May conduct pre-employment screening interviews, check references, and respond to routine questions on HR policies. 
  • Assist with candidate travel requirements through Egencia
  • Perform post offer activities and conduct new hire orientation
  • Participate in exit meetings where appropriate
  • Assist with COVID, LOA and benefits administration
  • Coordinate company events; service awards, office decorations, create email announcements etc.
  • Conduct employee surveys and analyze results
  • Maintain the monthly org chart reports
  • Update Sharepoint pages as needed
  • Perform department credit card reconciliations
  • Serve as backup for payroll, facilities administration & shipping
  • Ad hoc projects.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of HR guidelines and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • ADP or other HRIS knowledge a plus.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking System
  • Previous experience coordinating events
  • Attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service, a must

Education

  • General Education or High School Diploma, Associate’s degree preferred
  • HR certificate, a plus
