HR Generalist

Key Responsibilities 

• Oversee the employee onboarding process, including assisting in post recruitment efforts, new hire employee orientation, schedule, and paperwork
• Support current employees and potential/pending hires with visa/work sponsorship questions and processes, including determining visa eligibility, visa renewal processes, and permanent residency applications
• HR data management, including employee files and records
• Manage HRIS (Workday), including ensuring high-quality employee data, HR reporting, and HRIS support for other members of the HR team
• Benefits administration, audits, and compliance
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures
• Ensure legal compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and applicable employment law
• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources
• Local and global projects as assigned

Required Qualifications 

• Minimum 3 -5 years of progressive generalist experience in Human Resources
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with a demonstrated interest in HR
• Hands-on experience with Workday and comfort with learning new technical systems
• Working knowledge of US immigration law and visa processing (preferred)
• Experience in benefits administration and knowledge of applicable regulations (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, complex environment with sensitivity to confidential and proprietary information
• Must be able to prioritize, plan and use time effectively
• Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
