HR Generalist

The HR Generalist is a key role that involves managing and coordinating various human resource and payroll functions to include recruitment, payroll, and compliance.

Job Description

Recruitment and Staffing:

• • Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely and effective recruitment.

Data Management:

• • Maintain accurate employee records s and employee data.
  • Generate reports and provide HR metrics.

Payroll Processing:

• • Coordinate and process weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payroll accurately and in a timely manner for US & Canada.
  • Verify time and attendance records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.

Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:

• • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including paperwork, orientation, and system access.
  • Process terminations and conduct exit interviews, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

Coordination with HR Functions:

• • Collaborate with HR BP and other HR professionals to support various HR initiatives and programs.
  • Participate in HR projects as needed.

HR Policies and Compliance:

• • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in HR roles, with a focus on generalist responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
