Ardent is seeking a HR Generalist to join our team. Â
This is a Remote position.
Position Description:
Ardent is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our federal government contracting company. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting and managing various human resources functions within the organization. You will ensure compliance with federal government regulations, develop and implement HR policies and procedures, and provide support to employees and management. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of federal HR regulations and possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Â
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal government regulations, including but not limited to, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action Plans (AAP), Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), and other applicable labor laws.
- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with federal government regulations and company goals.
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related matters, including employee onboarding, performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Compensation and Benefits: Assist in the administration of employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, benefits enrollment, and communication of benefits information.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs, coordinate training programs, and assist in the development of training materials to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- HRIS and Record keeping: Maintain accurate employee records, ensure data integrity in the HRIS system, and generate HR reports as needed.
- Performance Management: Support the performance management process by providing guidance to managers and employees, conducting performance evaluations, and assisting in the implementation of performance improvement plans.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- HR Compliance Audits: Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with federal HR regulations and internal policies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements:Â
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in a federal government contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal HR regulations, including EEO, OFCCP, and AAP requirements.
- Excellent understanding of HR best practices and industry standards.
- Demonstrated experience in policy development, employee relations, and performance management.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
- Must have HR Compliance Audit experience
Preferred:
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)Â
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
