HR Generalist
Job Description
What you will do:
- Act as the first point of contact for employees in the US region for day-to-day HR topics by providing conflict resolution and guidance through HR processes, and liaising with HR representatives, management, and the Legal HR team, as needed, to ensure fairness and consistency of practices
- Partner with US HR representative to facilitate the onboarding of new employees
- Facilitate the strategic planning processes for the Performance Management (PM) process alongside other US HR representative and provide further support, according to business requirements
- Co-manage the People Satisfaction Survey (Engagement Survey) cycle for the US region alongside the US HR representative
- Participate, support, advise and provide strategic HR consultation to the US “Culture Committee”Â
- Act as an HR representative for the global Learning & Development team by consulting on their initiatives and providing trainings, where appropriate
- Liaise with the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and the Personnel & Payroll Operations Specialist to ensure the accuracy and compliance of data within the HR/Payroll platform for HR-related areasÂ
- Leads and manages HR programs including, but not limited to, benefits and leave; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development on an as-needed basis
- Provide guidance on employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors, and liaise with the US HR representative and Legal HR, as needed, to navigate through complex and/or sensitive matters
- Own the review and maintenance of the US team’s HR policies and practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations in partnership with the Legal HR team.
- Build trusted partnerships with departments (HR at Headquarters, Administration, Personnel & Payroll Operations, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and others) through consultative and collaborative efforts to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of HR related policies
- Along with the HR representative, conduct quarterly pulse-check meetings with individual contributors
- Performs other duties as assigned
- 2-4 years relevant experience working in an HR Generalist, or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

- Proficiency with G-Suite, Slack, and Microsoft Office Suite or related software preferred
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems
- Interest in learning and developing within an HR career track
The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $105,000 in base pay, and is exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined on a case by case basis based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, etc., and will be informed by market data.
