HR Generalist Lead
About the Role:Â
Ooma is hiring an HR Generalist Lead reporting to the Director of Human Resources, on the HR Team. In this role you will drive programs and work-streams that create an exceptional employee experience, and assist HR leadership in employee-related strategies. Â
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a strong understanding of HR workflows, exceptional knowledge of HR Information Systems (HRIS), and a track record of designing and implementing employee onboarding programs for companies with 500-1,000 employees. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our organization's HR functions, ensuring seamless processes, and fostering a positive employee experience.Â
 What You’ll Do:Â
- End-to-end design and implementation of comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires.Â
- Partner with Information Technology team to create an accurate and cohesive employee communication flow Â
- HRIS expertise, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and the ability to train others on the HR workflows.Â
- Evaluate, design and implement robust processes that effectively and efficiently deliver core HR services across the employee lifecycle for candidates, employees, and people managers. Â
- Provide insights through data and surveys - Share insights from quantitative and qualitative data as appropriate to inform prioritization and strategic decision-making.Â
- Serve as a strategic partner to HR leadership for HR program management, annual planning, prioritization and delivery of HR services to all of Ooma.Â
Experience We’re Looking For:Â
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Â
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on HRIS administration, workflow management, and onboarding program design.Â
- Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms, such as ADP, BambooHR, including configuration and reporting capabilities.Â
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing effective onboarding programs.Â
- Comprehensive understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.Â
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Â
The compensation to this position is dependent on cost of living and experience. There is a 3-5k annual bonus associated with this position as well.Â

The base salary range for candidates within the United States is listed below. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, specific location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Regular employees may also be eligible for bonus(es), sales incentive(s) (target included in OTE) and/or stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

$85,000—$105,000 USD
