Code and Theory’s Remote Internship Program is ideal for rising college seniors, recent grads, and career changers who are looking for hands-on experience at a digital-first creative agency. 

We are now accepting applications for our remote, 12 week, paid internship program across many of our departments. 

At Code and Theory, the HR Intern will be an integral part of our passionate high performing HR team. They will help support our generalist across all aspects of the HR lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, payroll, reporting, administration of benefits, etc). The HR intern will help across Code and Theory and our subsidiary companies (Mediacurrent, Rhythm, and Kettle) allowing for the best exposure to all of our business areas. 

What You’ll Do 

• Help with any HR reporting, data entry, record keeping or analysis as directed by the CPO or HR generalists 
• Assist the HR generalists in any HR onboarding related matters
• Help complete I-9 forms and verify I-9 documentation
• Schedule all exit interviews
• Help with the tracking of performance reviews
• File documents into appropriate employee files and maintain active and terminated employee files according to regulatory requirements
• Lead or assist ad hoc HR special projects in partnership with the CPO  and or HR Generalists

Essentials: 

• Critical attention to detail
• Proactive, multitasking go-getter with a flexible, positive attitude that flourishes in a fast-paced agency environment
• Great Excel and technical skills and comfortable with spreadsheets and data
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Passion for HR and problem solving
• Experience working in G Suite by Google (Gmail, Google Calendars, Google Sheets)
