At Hexagon Bio, we are leveraging our proprietary genomics-based platform and understanding of natural product evolution to develop the next generation of medicines for human disease. Our interdisciplinary platform uses data science, genomics, synthetic biology, chemistry, and automation to discover potent, evolutionarily refined small molecules and their cognate targets directly from fungal genomes.

Job Description

We are searching for a highly motivated HR Intern who will be responsible for supporting the candidate experience, specifically through managing the interview coordination process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and facilitate virtual and in-person Interviews; help support and troubleshoot any logistics-related interview issues
  • Responsible for maintaining hiring calendars, coordinating meetings, reserving conference rooms, and making other meeting arrangements
  • Prepare and share interview schedules with hiring teams and candidates (and provide visibility to scheduling progress)
  • Manage communication with candidates as requested
  • Support other administrative needs of the full lifecycle of recruiting activities
  • Provide system (Greenhouse ATS) and logistic support for recruitment activities
  • Assisting with general sourcing in databases or social media platforms when needed
  • Support recruiters in posting of positions on job boards 
  • Help to identify areas where Hexagon can improve efficiency and candidate experience
  • Provide back-up to other administrative team members during vacations or absences, assisting with administrative support and management of calendars
  • Document standard operating procedures for candidate care processes

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in a relevant HR degree/diploma program
  • Proficient in GSuite tools; strong scheduling/calendar management skills a plus
  • Able to manage multiple interview schedules and make changes as needed in a fast-paced/dynamic environment. Key competencies required: organization and time management, problem solving, patience, attentiveness, clear communications, adaptability/ability to handle surprises, willingness to learn
  • Ability to come onsite from time to time is desired
