CSC is seeking a self-motivated, inquisitive, and adventurous college student (rising Junior or Senior) to join our Talent Acquisition team within our Human Resources department in our Wilmington, DE office.
This position is an opportunity to recruit and hire for our company-wide intern program and support the Talent Acquisition Team through recruiting, scheduling interviews, onboarding and other ad hoc projects. Responsibilities include reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, and extending offers for our 2025 interns and prospective employees. There will also be an opportunity to partner and learn from other HR teams throughout your time with CSC.
We would like someone to start part time in January 2025 (working 15-20 hours a week during the semester) and transition to full time hours in May 2024 through the summer.
Some of the things you'll learn from us:
• How to recruit and hire for approximately 40 summer interns - review resumes, conduct phone interviews, schedule onsite interviews, meet with leaders to make hiring decisions and extend offers
• Learn full-life cycle recruiting by supporting the Talent Acquisition Team's recruiting efforts including candidate engagement efforts, Diversity and Belonging recruiting initiatives, and employment brand strategies
• How to prepare employment contracts and offer letters and deliver an exceptional onboarding experience
• Learn the CSC business culture to make recommendations to attract and engage candidates for the intern program as well as full-time positions
• You'll have the opportunity to learn from other HR teams as well - just speak up about what interests you, and we'll make time for you to learn and grow
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
• Rising Junior or Senior
• Currently attending college with a major relevant to HR
• Enjoys working in a team environment, but able to excel at independent tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, with attention to detail
• Self-motivated and easily adapts to change
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where you have the latitude to problem-solve and make quick decisions would be most beneficial in this role
