Job Description:

We are looking to hire an experienced HR Administrator to assist with the preparation and review of legal documents, union and nonunion contracts, and agreements. The HR Administrator will support the HR department and legal team by performing a variety of administrative duties. This role requires a strong understanding of legal compliance, and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and review of legal documents, union and nonunion contracts, and agreements.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Conduct research on legal and HR-related topics as needed.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for HR and legal departments.
  • Assist with employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required.
  • Support with H&S administration

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Legal Studies, or a related field.
  • Paralegal certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge in union relations and administration required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR administration or as a paralegal.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and legal compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
