Compensation Maximum:$125,600.00

Summary:

As the HR M&A Program Manager, you will lead and support the deliverables of the Enterprise People Services (EPS) Planning and M&A team. Efforts include evolving our HR M&A playbook and process plans for due diligence and integration. The HR M&A Program Manager will also manage and maintain project plans including assembling cross functional teams, managing scope, and actively managing resources, costs, quality, systems and risk. During periods of light acquisition activity, this position will manage and assist other HR projects and operational process improvement efforts that are key priorities for Enterprise People Services.
Job Description:

Primary Accountabilities
  • Contribute to the development and management of a mature and flexible M&A integration playbook and capabilities that can be leveraged for acquisitions of multiple types.
  • Develop EPS best practices on M&A processes including benchmarking with other companies, soliciting feedback, identifying lessons learned and driving action to improve
  • Participate in due diligence to inform approach to post-acquisition integration
  • Compile assessment data related to workforce metrics and financials as well as data related to differences in culture and norms, ways of communicating, and employee offerings of the acquired company
  • Assess retention needs of key talent and execute retention strategies
  • Identify people related risks and create risk mitigation plans
  • Define change management strategy to ensure smooth transition for new employees
  • Coordinate and lead activities and supporting initiatives with stakeholders (Corporate development and Integration M&A teams, Finance, IT and legal) from due diligence through integration execution
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COE's) to ensure integration plans are delivered effectively with a focus on delivering a seamless employee experience to maintain employee engagement and retention
  • Assist our HR teams in troubleshooting M&A related issues and supporting the unique needs of acquired employees and leaders throughout their first year as they transition to new HR tools, programs, and processes.


Specialized Knowledge and Skills
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
  • Demonstrated experience communicating with divisional leaders and/or executive leaders
  • Demonstrated experience successfully planning and executing large projects related to corporate initiatives or managing large portfolios involving multiple operational and technical areas across the organization
  • Demonstrated experience with project/program and portfolio management tools, methods and practices
  • Demonstrated experience with budget, metrics and other operational analyses
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of operational and strategic planning


Additional Job Information:

Must have 3-5 years of M&A experience including Human Resources (M&A and HR experience or HR M&A experience combined)

Minimum 5 years of demonstrated project/program management experience

Remote position, Madison, WI candidates preferred

Up to 25% of travel if remote
