Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Manager

Location: Houston, TX (Preferred) or Fort Worth, TX

The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing all HR functions and ensuring the efficient management of human capital. This role is vital in supporting the organization's goals by fostering a positive work environment, managing employee relations, implementing HR policies, and maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Lead the recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to align recruitment efforts with departmental needs.
Employee Relations
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Handle employee issues, disputes, and grievances with professionalism and fairness.
- Conduct regular employee engagement initiatives and surveys.
Performance Management
- Oversee the performance appraisal process and offer guidance to supervisors.
- Ensure performance improvement plans are effectively implemented.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
Compliance and Legal
- Stay abreast of evolving employment laws and regulations.
- Guarantee the organization's adherence to labor laws.
- Manage HR-related legal matters and liaise with legal counsel when necessary.
Policy Development
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures.
- Communicate and ensure employees' understanding and compliance with company policies.
- Contribute to HR strategy development in alignment with organizational goals.
Benefits Administration
- Supervise the administration of employee benefits programs.
- Communicate benefits information to employees and handle related inquiries.
HR Analytics and Reporting
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare HR reports for management and executives.
Training and Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development initiatives.
- Support the design and implementation of leadership development programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required, a Master's degree is preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including managerial roles.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive employee relations matters with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and HR software.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is advantageous.
The HR Manager works primarily in an office environment, collaborating with various departments and employees. This role may require occasional interaction with external service providers.
