About the role:
Reporting to the Head of HR Services and partnering with the APAC HRBP, this role will work with all employees and managers based in or with teams in the FT Philippines office. This role is part of the Global HR Team delivering a proactive, customer-focused HR service that meets the needs of our global business.
The role is responsible for planning, leading and organizing the activities of the local human resources team in the areas of talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, learning and development, employee services and organizational development.Â
Responsibilities:

Deliver efficient operational HR support to Manila teams by prioritizing and providing a proactive, engaging, and agile business-focused HR service

Evaluate and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure consistency, relevance, and group-wide comprehension

Partner with managers to address employee relations and performance management concerns

Collaborate with the APAC HR Business Partner on fostering organizational development, implementing cultural transformation, and driving initiatives aimed at enhancing the workforce and workplace environment

Ensure that payroll activities are connected to the Global Payroll manager by overseeing payroll and benefits
-
Work with talent acquisition and line managers to analyze emerging industry trends and anticipate potential impact on the local workforce. Ensure job grading data is maintained and reviewed against market trends, and pay and benefits data

Continually assess and benchmark the competitiveness of HR programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets

Develop and monitor budgets and financial plans and manage in-year operating plan in line with budget

Lead operational concerns and ensure that the team is performing at the expected level

Lead and participate in Global FT HR projects as and when required

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned or as responsibilities dictateÂ
Professional Experience & Requirements:
-
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or a related field or relevant experience in a similar role.Â

Experience in general HR Management and team management
-
Solid knowledge of employment ordinances and legal requirements in the Philippines to evaluate potential impacts of change
-
Ability to develop strong and credible relationships with business leaders and managersÂ
-
Identify and pre-empt potential sources of conflict, diagnose issues and recommend solutions
-
Use experience and insights to develop HR solutions, in partnership with business leaders and stakeholders which contribute to HR & business strategies
-
Proactively build external networks to build professional and market knowledge and to bring insight and ideas back to the FTÂ
