About This Role:
Cognosos seeks a dynamic individual to oversee the HR and recruiting operations for our fast-growing Company. Our company has a long history of hiring engaged and productive employees and we’re looking for a HR manager to continue growing our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR and employee recruitment, with a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, benefits administration, compensation, reward programs and conflict resolution. This is an ideal opporting for someone who likes to refine systems and processes. We’re eager to find an HR Manager who connects easily with people and has a detail-oriented mindset for handling the changing needs of a growth company.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and administers a company-wide human resources policies, procedures and practices in accordance with federal, state and local legal requirements
- Oversees the pre-screening, interviewing, assessment and hiring of top-quality candidates
- Executes the recruiting strategy for the company and is experienced with direct sourcing
- Review employee relations issues and partners with management to address
and resolve.
- Creation of strong employee relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Onboarding of employees to the organization (including right to work verification) and explanation of benefit plans to employees
- Own the creation and structure of the performance management process for the company
- Act as a true generalist with the ability to take on and own a variety of tasks
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related field
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP designation strongly preferred
- 7+ years of previous HR experience, ideally for a growing SaaS company
- Ability to come in to our Midtown office at least 2 days a week
- Experience with an ATS (such as Lever or Greenhouse), LI Recruiter and other recruiting tools
