Who we are looking for
As the Human Resources Manager for our Memphis Distribution Center, you'll use your human resources expertise to collaborate with, and provide guidance to, Nike Distribution Center employees and business leaders - improving our effectiveness and activating growth.
What you will work on
You'll participate in key business planning and talent planning sessions to assess talent and develop strategies to address development needs, gaps and risks. You will play a key role in developing and/or carrying out strategies and interventions requiring organizational design, employee relations, leadership and team development, organizational change, performance management, compliance and overall engagement.
Who you will work with
You will work closely with key partners within HR, Centers of Excellence and business leaders to deliver a full spectrum of HR programs and initiatives to build commitment, capability, and overall engagement among individuals and teams. You will also be expected to drive solutions that will contribute to organizational health and the achievement of strategic objectives.

Essential Functions
- Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to assigned client group
- Facilitate organizational change and cultivate linkage between strategic objectives and human resources activities
- Coach and confer with leaders on matters of performance management, leadership capability, employee morale, etc.
- Coach and mentor HR Specialists
- Resolve employee escalations of issues as appropriate
- Drive critical talent initiatives to address organizational growth and talent needs
- Generate specific organizational interventions to support business goals and objectives
What you bring to Nike
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience and training
- 5-7 years relevant HR work experience
- Proven ability to drive HR initiatives that result in improved business results
- Project Management experience preferred
- HR experience in distribution or manufacturing preferred
- Professional HR Certification preferred
- Strong HR Expertise & Discernment
- Critical Evaluation & Problem-Solving skills using quantitative and qualitative data
- Demonstrated Leadership & Navigation
- Consultation Skills
- Ability to artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
- Relationship management at all levels of the organization
