Changeis is seeking a talented and dynamic HR Manager to join our team due to company growth.  This is an ideal position for candidates who are excited to have a hand in varied HR functions that involve employee engagement, performance management, reporting/compliance, development and training, and compensation and benefits.  Reporting to the Director of HR, you will partner with the Talent Acquisitions Manager and our back-office team to lead and shape the culture and structure of our organization.

This is a hands-on position requiring a willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get work done.  It requires a self-motivated, reliable individual, with the ability to work independently and an interest in taking on a variety of projects.  This high visibility role offers strong career growth opportunities within our organization.  The telework option to work remotely for 2-3 days is offered.  Candidates with prior federal government contracting experience are strongly preferred.

Specific responsibilities:

 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and counsel for all HR programs and activities including, compensation, performance management, policies/procedures, organizational communications, reporting (including trends and analysis) and any special projects as assigned.
  • Continually make improvements to HR programs such as onboarding, training, employee guidelines, diversity-equity-inclusion programs, record-keeping, and documentation.
  • Work with company’s stakeholders to establish program compliance, policies and procedures.
  • Identify and remediate process gaps, potential non-compliant practices and quality issues.
  • Ensure corporate compliance with organizational policies and relevant laws, including managing OFCCP compliance and gathering information necessary for compilation of required annual AAP and OFCCP certification.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition to ensure compliance for all aspects of affirmative action for hiring and reporting including Annual EEO-1 and VETS 4212 reporting.
  • Oversee all aspects of employee relations, including but not limited to: engagement, internal reviews, investigations, performance improvement, and off-boarding/terminations.

Qualifications:

  • US Work Authorization
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of HR experience in Federal Government contracting
  • Gov Con and SCA (Service Contract Act) experience is essential
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to build relationships and trust with and be an integral business partner with organizational leadership
  • Knowledge of DCAA requirements, FLSA, SCA, DOL, and other federal/state employment laws
  • Comfortable and able to navigate proficiently with technology solutions such as MS Office Suite, HRIS, ATS and government reporting systems
  • Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to present ideas and information clearly and concisely
