Your role at Exness:
We are seeking for a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team in South Africa. Exness is establishing a new local hub in South Africa, and the primary responsibility of this role will be to act as the focal point for this project. This critical task involves setting up the local employment framework, coordinating efforts between various teams, managing relocation and immigration processes, and handling employment matters. The HR Manager will also play a crucial role in replicating core HR practices from our Headquarters (HC) while adapting them to fit local specifics and legislation.
You will:
- Act as the local HR focal point for the project to establish a local hub in South Africa.
- Coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth project execution for all related People matters.
- Replicate and implement core HR practices and policies as defined by the HC.
- Stay updated on local labor laws and regulations and ensure all HR practices comply with local legislation and employment standards.
- Manage and oversee the employee life-cycle activities from onboarding to offboarding, including local payroll execution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Adjust and customize HR practices when necessary to meet local business needs and legal requirements.
- Be the bridge between the local office and HC in all other People practices like Total Rewards, Learning and Development, and Project Management.
- Work along with the assigned HRBPs to address and handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Manage cultural initiatives to uphold and embody the Exness culture within the local office environment, ensuring seamless integration and alignment.
- Oversee the relocation process for employees moving to South Africa from other locations.
- Manage immigration processes, including work permits and visas.
- Provide support and guidance to relocating employees to ensure a smooth transition.
- Where necessary, support the sourcing and procurement of local vendors.
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably within an international organization.
- Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in managing relocation and immigration processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust HR practices to local specifics and changing environments.
- Communication: Effective communicator with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities to manage teams and projects effectively.
- Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail, ensuring compliance and accuracy in HR practices.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding and respect for cultural differences and ability to work in a diverse environment.
