What you will do:

• Review and assess the feasibility of, and strategy for, sponsoring candidates for non-immigrant visas (OPT, EAD, H-1B, E-3, and TN) and employment-based immigrant visas (EB-2, EB-3)
• Track expiration dates and applicable timelines to ensure timely execution of petitions, extensions, amendments, transfers, and permanent residency filings
• Act as the primary resource for employees regarding all aspects of immigration and inter-office transfers
• Serve as primary liaison between internal and external legal counsel, HR, business partners, and employees requiring sponsorship to ensure the accurate preparation and timely processing of immigration cases
• Ensure compliance with DOL and immigration laws, including LCA postings, public inspection documents, and PERM recruitment requirements
• Prepare employment verification letters for travel and VISA applications
• Monitor current legal developments to stay current with federal immigration laws
• Educate key stakeholders regarding the immigration processes and changes when needed
• Provide a high level of service to employees
• Assist HR team with recruiting and associate relations about immigration and transfers
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes/procedures
• Ad-hoc (local and global) projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have 2+ years of immigration experience preferred
• Knowledge of immigration laws and global mobility experience
• Experience with OPT, EAD, H-1B, E-3, and TN visas; experience managing PERM recruitment process
• Ability to prioritize/multi-task while providing accurate/on-time results with thoroughness and confidentiality
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
• Ability to interact and coordinate with all levels of the organization
• Bachelor’s degree required
