Job Description

Elevation was founded in 2021 in partnership with Alpine Investors, a People-First Private Equity firm based in San Francisco. Elevation is the direct sourcing department at Alpine, focused on sourcing new investment opportunities for Alpine and it’s portfolio companies.

The HR / Office Administrator will play a large role in supporting the continual build out of the Elevation team as a its own business unit under the umbrella of Alpine Investors. This position will oversee the day-to-day HR and office management functions of the Elevation team and will work in conjunction with the HR and Office Management teams at Alpine. This position will be responsible for onboarding, off-boarding, compliance, employee systems, office administration and management, among other duties

Role Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage employee administrative tasks for onboarding, off-boarding and documentation processing
  • Administer benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs
  • Develop employee procedures and policies 
  • Strategize new employee experiences and procedures
  • Ensure compliance of all state and federal workforce regulations
  • Develop and maintain the Elevation Employee Handbook, employee directory, org chart, etc..
  • Oversee office administrative tasks to ensure comfortable working conditions for employees and guests
  • Assist in any go-forward office expansion plans
  • Vendor management
  • Planning and scheduling of team events
  • In downtown Salt Lake City office 4-5 days a week

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years of experience in HR
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms
  • Office management experience or a desire and openness to maintaining a welcoming office space
  • A strong organizational skill set - Should be able to demonstrate organizational systems you have implemented and maintained in the past 
  • A people-first mentality - Always looks for solutions that would benefit others above all
  • Working well in a team environment - Knows when to step up and lead as well as step back, support, and enable others to lead
  • Results oriented - Should always be recommending solutions rather than just stating the problem
  • High level of self-awareness - Knowing your strengths and areas of improvement. Always seeking to give where you can as well as understanding and working towards expanding your own skill set.
