HR & Onboarding Coordinator

AJ Tutoring helps students expand their college options with professional one-on-one tutoring. Our HR team is looking for a new onboarding and benefits coordinator to help us welcome new tutors to our fast-growing team. This role is based in our downtown Menlo Park office and our selected candidate will offer the following support:

• Own our onboarding process, including conducting orientation meetings multiple times each week and managing communication between new hires, managers and other relevant staff.
• Answer questions about our benefits programs for potential hires, new hires and current staff
• Manage creation of tutor bio pages for our website using WordPress
• Other project support as needed. Areas are likely to include off-boarding, open enrollment, and performance management.

Our ideal candidate possesses:

• Prior work experience in a heavy client-facing role, such as reception or retail. Previous recruiting or onboarding coordination experience would be a big plus.
• Willingness to learn new technology and data skills. Priority will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience using GSuite apps, ADP, and/or WordPress.
• Professional presence and innate sense of discretion.
• Strong interest in building an HR career.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $53,000.00 to $57,000.00 /year
