Job Summary:
As an HR Coordinator, you will utilize Workday to enter, access, and verify employee information including new hires, transfers, promotions / demotions, status shift changes, terminations, contingent worker maintenance, and data corrections. You will conduct audits to ensure accuracy of employee information.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Administrative, customer services, or HR experience in a fast-paced environment (HR is highly preferred); proven experience with general administrative duties such as report generation, complex mail-merge operations, and successfully handling special projects
- Superior data accuracy
- Strong customer service aptitude
- Works efficiently and prioritizes on a daily basis to meet customer needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with Workday (Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Talent)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification
- Process unemployment claims via Equifax
- Process Verification of Employment requests, gathering the relevant information from Workday and working with Payroll to get the necessary wage information
- Analysis and decision-making: Data is supplied, possibly by other departments, or through research, and is simply compiled in a logical matter. Emphasis is on format; not meaning.
- Serve as primary point of contact for employee questions; responsible for monitoring and responding to any inquiries received through the general HR department email inbox
- Maintain data accuracy in Workday
- Complete knowledge transfer to end-users to ensure system adoption and participate in the development of training materials for HR staff
- Provide support on other projects and HR initiatives as assigned
- This position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed
- This role is within Chamberlain Group's Human Resources function.
