HR Operations - Immigration Specialist

Based out of Capco's Orlando office, The North America HR Operations team is responsible for processing all new hires, background checks, contractors, exits/terminations, and benefits across the US and Canada.
About the Job:
Capco is looking for an Immigration Specialist to join the fast-paced, high-volume Human Resources (HR) Operations team in Orlando, FL. They will oversee the company immigration process and have a responsibility to ensure immigration across the US is conducted per current legislation in partnership with counsel. The role requires a strong background in immigration and the ability to be "hands on" where necessary.
What You'll Get to Do:

• Act as the point of contact for immigration cases for the US
• Partner with external immigration legal counsel, manage all aspects of US immigration cases including new petitions, PERM processes, transfers, amendments, evidence requests, and extensions
• Maintain all immigration compliance records, including public access files (PAF) and PERM records, approved job descriptions, I-9 verification for applicable foreign nationals
• Monitor changes to employment status, job title, official location, and salary and notify appropriate stakeholders
• Understanding of US legislation and ensure any changes are quickly reflected in our processes
• Troubleshoot immigration issues and challenges
• Coordinate and support the preparation, review, and presentation of immigration data
• Employment authorization and identity verification of individuals hired for our U.S. business
• Participate in special projects as required

What You'll Bring with You:

• 4+ years of HR generalist experience/experience in the immigration sector
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word), PeopleSoft, and Greenhouse
• Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with all levels and be a team player
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage projects
• Able to assess and solve issues in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience working for a financial services company, management consulting firm, or professional services firm nice to have
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
