West Monroe is seeking a full-time HR Operations Systems Manager to join our Shared Services function. Reporting to the HR Operations Sr. Manager, the ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The successful candidate will be a critical leader executing on HR Operations initiatives and streamlining our internal systems for process optimization and scalability. The initial, primary responsibilities of the role will be to take a lead role in the implementation of Workday HCM. The role will scale to manage the HR Operations instances of Workday and ServiceNow.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 


HRIS - Workday

  • Take an active role supporting the implementation of Workday’s HCM software, partnering with stakeholders on Workday design, function, and best practices
  • Lead the ongoing management of the Workday production environment post implementation
  • Partner with stakeholders, including IT and Talent Analytics to evaluate new Workday functionality and to execute against Workday release updates
  • Engage with Workday Community to understand technology capabilities and recommend solutions that address business needs
  • Partner with internal HR SMEs to capture enhancement requirements for various HR processes.
  • Identify system optimization opportunities and lead the resolution of system updates and issue resolution
  • With a continuous improvement mindset, seek opportunities to improve both the administrator and employee experience though process improvements, automation and system integration
  • Coordinate and lead testing in partnership with various talent functions and ensure testing documents are updated appropriately
  • Oversee the integration of acquisition datasets and ensure all business processes are executed accurately and efficiently in support of the overall transaction
  • Drive technical knowledge and best practices with team members and other stakeholders to increase administrators’ overall proficiency with the platform

 

Employee Service Center - ServiceNow

  • Partner with IT to manage the ongoing operations of the ServiceNow production environment
  • Partner with IT and external vendors to manage platform improvements and system upgrades utilizing the Test and Dev environments before promoting changes to production
  • Report on performance metrics to Sr. Managers and the Chief Admin Officer
  • Ensure knowledge articles are up to date
  • Lead the resolution of identified issues, partnering with external support as appropriate
  • HR Operations member of the Employee Service Center Steering Committee

 

Requirements: 

  • A commitment to inclusion and diversity, and openness to new ideas and perspectives
  • 5+ years of Workday HCM product experience required; Experience with an Enterprise Service Management tool, such as ServiceNow, preferred
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships with other Shared Services and Line departments, across all levels
  • Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to prioritize tasks and work quickly and accurately with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and take a lead role in ensuring data governance requirements are maintained and enforced

Education/Training/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources
