About the Role

The HR Project Manager is an integral member of the project team and is responsible for managing all aspects of projects supporting the Company's long-term strategic goals for Human Resources. This role functions within the Transformation department, reporting to the Transformation Program Manager. The transformation department is a global team working on cross-functional potential disruptive, technology-enabled changes. The team's focus is managing key strategic projects for Packsize, establishing governance and process standards as well as driving the Packsize portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinates the work activities for multiple functions to ensure satisfactory delivery.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle: planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery.
  • Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management.
  • Assists with the selection, negotiation, and management of all activities regarding external consultants or vendors (RFP/RFQ).
  • Keep accurate records of project tracking information used to generate financial and status reports.
  • Manage and Coordinate meetings.
  • Performs work under minimal supervision.
  • Handles complex issues and problems, and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Provide mentoring to HR teams on project management methodologies

What You'll Bring

  • Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in project management, with a focus on HR-related projects for cross-departmental teams and business units.
  • Project Management and/or Organizational Change Management certification
  • Experience in implementing cloud-based HR/HCM systems and software (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) is essential. This includes a high-level understanding of system integration and data migration.
  • A strong understanding of HR best practices and the legal requirements specific to North America and Europe is vital. This knowledge is critical to align projects with the organization's HR goals and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain HR & HCM concepts to those less knowledgeable.
  • Ability to transform business objectives into technical and business HRIS requirements.
  • Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in building collaborative relationships, sourcing essential information, and exhibiting advanced project scheduling and management skills.
  • The ability to quickly establish rapport and work with individuals from different backgrounds and cultures is important, as HR projects often involve diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Candidates should be able to handle multiple duties and responsibilities thoroughly, Independently, and on time through proper prioritization and time management.
  • Ability to work with a team under pressure with short deadlines.
  • Attention to detail - Attention to detail is vital, as errors in HR and HCM systems can have significant consequences.
  • Experience with multiple project management methodologies is required, and having a Project Management certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Candidates should possess excellent leadership skills and be a proactive problem solver

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this role is [$100,000 USD - $130,000 USD]; however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
