Job Title:

HR Representative

Job Description:

This role will act as a first line interface to employees. Will provide HR support through the HR Operations team within (Americas or International) region to assist in embedding company processes and supporting the employee through their experience with Allison by providing professional HR guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate communications and responses to inquiries for employees, managers and the HR Organization.
• Managing the day-to-day transactional execution of employee queries; you will review, analyze, and apply company policies to determine a resolution while partnering with relevant internal departments and 3rd Party Vendors for a seamless delivery.
• Organize and administer workflow to comply with our customer's requests in the turnaround time established
• Responsible for daily HR administration throughout the entire employee life cycle.
• Data entry, maintaining accurate HR records in the HRIS system.
• Works within the HRIS system to hire employees, interns, and contingent workers.
• Support HR business partners and COE's with HRIS transactions
• Processes, tracks, verifies, and maintains personnel related documentation which may include on-boarding, new hire, and termination documentation.
• Review timecards to ensure the employee's time is accurately recorded and complete.
• Work with supervisors to resolve errors like missing time clock punches, overtime corrections, and absences.
• Complete any correction forms that are submitted after payroll has processed.
• Collaborates across HR and with other functional groups to ensure alignment and integration on HR's operational processes.
• Conducts research to evolve best practices and recommends solutions to improve procedures and increase efficiencies
• Participates in HR projects in support of the global HR goals.
• Be a superuser of Workday and appropriate systems and interfaces with Payroll, SharePoint, T&A systems to ensure that all relevant information is captured, accurate, and available to the business.
• Manage the electronic availability of HR related documents.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Preferred HR focus through degree or additional studies
• SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
• Strong Computer skills (PPT, Excel, Word)
• Knowledge and use of HRIS (Workday) and Service Now, preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' work experience in a customer service type environment
• Experiences as an HR Administrator or Assistant
• Strong organizational skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Have a proven ability to work at superuser level within several people related business systems
• Experience in working in a service center environment
