Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist to support our Human Resources team and help our business achieve new heights in our fast growing startup. The HR Generalist will play a vital role in supporting our HR Manager in various HR functions. This role is responsible for helping to create and maintain a positive and productive workplace environment, handling HR recruiting and assisting with administrative tasks,

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews. Conduct new employee orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

2. Sourcing and Attraction: Utilize various channels to source potential candidates, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top tier talent.

3. Talent Pipelines: Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines for key roles to ensure a consistent pool of qualified candidates.

4. Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflicts. Assist in resolving employee relations issues and maintaining a positive work atmosphere.

5. Benefits and Compensation: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Support in the management of payroll and compensation-related activities.

6. HR Policies and Compliance: Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing HR policies and procedures. Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

7. HR Administration: Maintain HR records and employee files. Generate HR reports and assist with HR analytics and coordinate employee events, training, and development programs.

8. Culture and Employee Engagement: Support initiatives to enhance company culture and employee engagement. Organize team-building activities and recognition programs.

Ideal Candidate:

With these responsibilities in mind, our "Ideal Candidate" should possess the following attributes:

  • 2+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a startup or technology company.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, recruiting, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Person who is willing to get their hands dirty, take ownership to deliver results, do whatever it takes no matter how strategic or operational that work is.
