Job Description:

About the Role:

The HR Specialist role at the Lancaster location provides Human Resources support to the Manufacturing plant, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Recruiting, and hiring for non-exempt positions
• Assists employees with requests, concerns, and HR related issues
• Manages and maintains all HRIS employee changes
• Engagement in plant Continuous Improvement efforts including participation with Process Improvement Teams
• Maintains cooperative relationship with coworkers and management by communicating necessary information, responding to requests, building report; and participating in problem solving methods

Important Details: This is a full-time role performed on-site. Normal day shift hours with occasional duties on other shifts.

About You:

You'll fit right in if you have:

• One to three years Human Resources experience in a unionized Manufacturing environment. Associate Degree preferred
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications, HRIS Systems, and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Ability to exercise good judgment and diplomacy in dealing with executives, staff members, clients, and visitors
