HR Strategy Leader
Job Description
HR Strategy Leader sets the overall direction for the HR function within the region and is primarily responsible for ensuring the HR department is aligned with the company vision and business strategy. This position could sit in Auburn Hills, MI or Fort Mill, SC.
Responsibilities:β’ Examines the organization's business strategy, taking into account the projected growth, to develop HR programs and policies in collaboration with COEs.β’ Plans the medium- and long-term future of the HR function to include:
o Analyzing and understanding the organizational medium and long-term business plans
o Ensures the HR vision is clear, concise, understandable, and inspiring for all the HR team members
o Developing strategic HR planning framework - taking into account market trends and innovative ideas to determine the best strategies for achieving the set goals while ensuring these are aligned with the organization's overall vision.
o Formulating tactical plans to achieve the strategy
o Presenting the plans to management for approval that align and support business plans
o Driving the implementation of the plans and monitoring resultsβ’ Utilizes employee satisfaction surveys and other data surveys to generate a clear view of the HR department's performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement
Job Requirements
Education:
o Bachelor Degree in HR Management or related discipline;
Experience:
o At least seven years experience in a Senior HR role
o In-depth knowledge of global HR developments
o HR Strategic planning experience on a regional or global level
o Change management expertise
o Vision, big-picture thinking, and a willingness to be a catalyst for change
o Collaborative skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
o Excellent communication skills to ensure strategy is understood and accepted; able to translate overall strategy into tangible actions to achieve strategy goals that are aligned to the businesses and global HR Organization
o Requires data analysis skills and statistical understanding to trend, forecast, and set targets against the data
o Expert speaking and presentation skills and experience in designing, creating and delivering, dynamic presentations to sell the strategy and communicate direction effectively
o Excellent project management skills to ensure tactical action plans are aligned, achievable and timely
Preferred:
10 years of HR Experience in a Generalist track
5 years of global HR experience
