General Summary

The HR Systems Coordinator is responsible for completing the day to day operational / maintenance activities related to keeping HR systems updated and current. Responsibilities include issue (ticket) management, data entry and the execution and communication of weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports as requested by functional teams.

Reports to: Manager HR Systems

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Systems Maintenance and Issue Resolution
  • Ensure files are received and the daily maintenance tasks are completed on time
  • Review the new hire information to ensure validity, accuracy and completeness prior to execution
  • Manage the HR Systems tickets received and takes action to resolve
  • Follow up with 3rd party support on pending cases
  • Set-up and maintain system codes, controls and tables such as jobs codes, status codes etc.
  • Reporting
  • Compile, generate, and distribute ad-hoc, special and/or customized management reports in a timely manner
  • Personal Technical Development
  • Continue to expand systems knowledge through training and educational opportunities.
  • Special Projects:
  • As directed by manager, participate in special projects within or outside the HRIS arena.


Required Skills:
  • Detail oriented, able to track and work through multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Passion for ensuring accuracy of data, confidentiality and system uptime
  • Shows sound judgment when taking action to resolve issues
  • Is able to complete activities with training and some oversight
  • Works comfortably in team environment
  • Solid verbal, written and communication skills
  • Is able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Comfortable navigating internet and working with web applications
  • Some experience on HR SaaS (Cloud) application is beneficial but not required
  • Comfortable navigating web browser and working on web based applications


Minimum Experience:
  • 6 months - 1 year working with MS Tools (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)


Preferred Qualifications:
  • B.S. Degree in Human Resources or Computer Science preferred or equivalent experience
