Job Description

Gogo Business Aviation is looking for an HR Technology Manager (Workday), to be a key member of the Total Rewards, HR Operations and Technology team.
In this role, you will be a results-oriented leader who will work together across the enterprise to design, build, and implement Human Resource technology solutions and manage and enhance deployed applications.
We are looking for someone who wants to serve as a strategic partner to HR to ensure our technology solutions are optimized and executed. This leader must be highly motivated, detail oriented and has a drive to solve problems. They will have a proven track record for leading complex initiatives that lead to business outcomes across a data-driven HR approach.

How will you make a difference?

  • Lead HR technology (including Workday) solution delivery, change control, enhancements, break/fix, and security to support HR and the business roadmap


  • Implement and support new HR technologies and re-engineer processes to continually enhance HR operational efficacy


  • Manage business requests end to end including prioritization, project management, requirements gathering, functional and technical documentation, end to end system and user testing


  • Partner across the organization to proactively promote, support engagement and provide recommendations with our HR technology


  • Participate in cross-functional HR projects and initiatives as the HRIS application owner for assigned areas


  • Partner across functions effectively meet the HR technology needs of the organization by working to scope, prioritize, and deliver across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)


  • Perform overall planning, design, implementation, and administration of new systems or changes in existing systems to support the Human Resource functions


  • Provide HR system administration, including business process configuration, reporting development, end user training, and data management in support of maintaining Workday as a best-in-class employee experience forward platform


  • Perform additional Workday administrative functions including configuration, data loads, integrations, and reporting


  • Review business procedures/workflows to ensure system features are being fully utilized and identify Workday features that may improve efficiency


  • Provide pre- and post-launch end-user support, change management, issue resolution, testing, and training to enhance and optimize Workday processes


  • Document technology specifications for current and future configuration


  • Maintain working functional knowledge of HR and HR systems across multiple functions and teams, driving collaboration and a commitment to a great support service experience


  • Function as support to HR and work to enhance their understanding of Workday


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or professional experience equivalency


  • 7+ years of demonstrated excellence with HRIS/HCM technology


  • 5+ years of Workday configuration and management experience; Workday Pro or Workday Certifications is a plus.


  • 2+ years of project management experience


  • This role is hybrid and will require you to be in the office 2-3 days per week


  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship


Required knowledge, skills and talents

  • Demonstrated record of accomplishments driving successful HR technology initiatives


  • Deep Workday HCM knowledge including core frameworks (Integrations, Security, Reporting, Calculated Fields) and functional products (core HR, compensation, benefits, performance/talent, recruiting, absence/time off, time tracking and US payroll)


  • Ability to maintain effective relationship management across all levels of the organization


  • Solid understanding of how Workday modules function together and impact up/downstream


  • Deep understanding of Workday data model, system architecture, interfaces, reporting, and data loading procedures


  • Ability to work with others on solutions with attention to detail and relentless commitment to follow-through


  • Ability to convey ideas and recommendations to a wide variety of audiences at all levels in a clear, compelling, and succinct way


  • Effectively communicate complex technical content to non-technical partners


  • Experience defining technical requirements and working with cross functional systems/owners


  • Strong understanding of all HR disciplines and programs


  • Established project management skills


  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including lookups, logical expressions, and pivot tables


  • Demonstrated aptitude for driving continuous improvement and a positive employee experience


  • Collaborative and team-focused


Preferred knowledge, skills and talents

  • 1+ years managing direct reports


  • Experience leading internal and external audit projects (SOX controls...etc.)

Base Pay:
120,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD Annual
Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:
Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
