Become an integral member of Forbes’ growing HR Technology team and help us to leverage our data to become the best company to work for in Media.  This is a hands-on role that will be responsible for HR technology activities to maintain our HR tech stack and ensure Forbes’ HR technology and analytics are cutting edge and supportive to fuel our growth.  We are always looking to enhance our processes and being innovative with excellent attention to detail and accuracy will set the candidate up for success in this role.

People Analytics

  • Partner with HR leaders to determine data analytics needs to create reports from various systems that can be transformed into dashboards within Looker (around such topics as DEI, talent retention, internal movement, etc.) to support business goals through data. The expectation is to proactively update dashboards so that insights can be utilized regularly.
  • Work with Business Intelligence to develop dashboards and transform analytical results into presentable and actionable insights for the HR team and other business leaders.
  • Assist in developing metrics to determine the success of human capital initiatives.
  • Create a guide for HR data related terms and definitions for HR and other leaders to utilize so that everyone is utilizing the same terminology.
  • Create, maintain and support ad-hoc reporting and project needs from all areas of HR.

HR Technology

  • Maintain all HR systems’ data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and proactively recommend and manage process improvements and implement changes where necessary. Create and maintain process documentation and training materials for end users.  Train all end users.
  • Proactively research upgrades to ensure upgraded features are aligned with business goals and best practices. Work with other HR and IT to understand their needs and then create and document new processes as needed resulting from the upgrades.
  • Actively participate in project implementation of new systems, upgrades, and/or integrations.
  • Support and maintain existing integrations and other system maintenance by working closely with external vendors and internal IT support to ensure systems are communicating correctly.
  • Maintain internal company homepage within HRIS (currently ADP Workforce Now) to regularly update with relevant information and events to engage employees and connect our hybrid-first organization
  • Stay up to date with trends and developments within people analytics as well as HR technology and integration solutions.
  • Provide timely, first level support for troubleshooting all HR technology system issues from employees and various end users with high quality customer service
  • Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.

Requirements:

  • 3 or more years of experience in an analytical role within HR working within HR systems and developing people analytics
  • Working knowledge of HR information systems including system configuration and building reports
  • Some experience implementing systems and integrations between systems
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience handling complex and confidential data from multiple sources
  • Excellent with advanced skills using Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets for data analysis
  • Understanding of HR operations and change management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong oral/written communication skills and ability to communicate with multiple levels in the organization
