Key Responsibilities
- Partners with Global Talent Acquisition (TA), Global Rewards and Talent & Organizational Development Stakeholders to analyze complex business requirements; analyzes, evaluates and recommends process improvements and system alternatives/enhancements in support of short and long-term goals
- Configure, test and deploy system changes and enhancements for Workday
- Serve as the HR Technology functional SME to help drive a better user experience
- Participate in the review, testing, and implementation of Workday, CRM, and Interview scheduling systems updates
- Collaborate effectively with and mentor other team members
- Use HR and technical knowledge to influence, consult, communicate and manage projects from design to successful implementation
- Provide HR functional expertise for system issues and resolution with HR users
- Partners with other HR Technology Analysts to recommend process improvement strategies
- Assembles and leads project teams in the implementation of process improvements or system enhancements.
- May lead/co-lead sub-teams in support of medium to large projects
- Evaluates and recommends alternative solutions when a change in business process or deliverable arises
- Develops and is accountable for defining sub-team deliverables, ensuring tasks and responsibilities meet plan deadlines
- Writes functional specifications and documents plans for testing, training and other deployment activities
- Collaborate with functional and technical staff in researching, coordinating and implementing Workday upgrades or fix in Test and Production environments, document changes and testing results
- Provides functional support for projects within the area of responsibility
- Use project management skills in managing projects.
- Maintain documentation of all Workday applications including business and functional specs
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business-related field (HR, IT, Business Admin)
- 3 years working with HR related technologies as a technical / functional expert with a clear functional understanding of core HR business practices, processes, and terminology (HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Performance Management) and the ability to develop solutions to address business problems and requirements
- Understanding of functional areas across Human Resources and Workday ecosystem, including HCM, Compensation, TA and Talent Management
- Knowledge of project management methodology and principles
