Job Summary
NOV is actively recruiting an HR Technology Project Manager located in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will manage medium to large scale global HR technology projects. The HR Technology Project Manager will plan, establish, and manage HR Technology (HRT) projects and will serve as a liaison between the business, stakeholders, and project team of assigned projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects through the entire project life cycle ensuring systems meet design standards and guidelines, ensure successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters
- Partner with project sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams to lead the definition of and evaluate technical/business requirements, define project scope, and objectives
- Establish and manage project plans and schedules, track project milestones, manage and account for unforeseen delays, realign schedules and expectations as needed
- Develop and implement project communication plans; prepare and present project documentation, including status updates, project plans, and other reporting documents
- Facilitates the coordination of meetings and deliverables between project teams and/or business functions
- Other project task as assigned
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading HCM projects and implementing HR systems/modules
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies/project life cycle
- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of training, education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Expert user in MS PowerPoint, MS Projects, and MS Excel
- Organized, with attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of HR systems or modules used in the HR organization
- Hybrid work schedule

Preferred
- PMP or CSM Certification
- Experience as an HR technology project manager, preferably within Oracle Cloud HCM and Kronos Dimensions a plus
- General understanding of Human Resources functions (i.e., Timekeeping/Payroll, Learning, Compensation)
